Discover the bettair® node: the state-of-the-art air quality sensor

Cities and industrial environments face significant pollution levels, resulting in a detrimental environmental impact. As a result, more and more professionals are looking for technology to measure air quality in high-precision real-time environments to take preventive and/or corrective measures based on the specific data provided.

With bettair® air quality sensors, it is possible to identify sources of pollution and aid in evaluating actions to improve air quality and reduce environmental noise.

Introducing the bettair® node

Node measurements and weight
Height: 210mm (8.26 inches) Width: 176mm (6.92 inches) Depth: 114mm (4.48 inches)
How does it work?

Bettair® air quality monitors are devices equipped with multiple sensors that work autonomously and require external power, whether solar panels or a network connection. The data collected by each device is transmitted directly to a server, where it is processed in the cloud.

These nodes can measure various air pollutants, environmental noise  and other environmental parameters, and can be customized to best suit each Smart City or environment.

Durability

The sensors' lifespan (electrochemical cells and particles) that make up the nodes is two years. During this period, the quality of the data collected is guaranteed. Once this time has passed, the sensor cartridges must be replaced, a simple and quick operation to execute.

Install a network of static nodes on streetlights or other urban fixtures to form a dense matrix and obtain high spatial and temporal resolutions. Take control of air quality and noise pollution in your city as soon as possible.

Connectivity, autonomy and integration

These air monitoring stations connect through a wired network or, more commonly, via 3G/4G mobile networks; integrated as standard in all devices. Solar panels can also be integrated. A data SIM card is required for connection, or they can be linked to a LoRaWAN network if desired.

The nodes contain an extra internal battery that allows them to continue operating for 4-6 days in case of power failure.

The data obtained through the node network can be integrated into the customer’s chosen website or system. If required, our team takes care of the integration of data into the user’s tools.

Advanced post-processing

The bettair® nodes operate with centralized processing, providing unmatched reliability in the market (Pearson correlation > 90%). Pollution data is processed through a unique post-processing algorithm that delivers precise measurements of various air quality indicators at a level of accuracy comparable to traditional equipment but more cost-effective.

These devices do not have to be calibrated on-site and their algorithms are based on unsupervised machine learning techniques that are applied to the raw data provided by the sensors to achieve exceptional performance for low concentrations (parts per billion, ppb).

Maintenance of bettair® nodes

Our factory-calibrated sensors combined with bettair®’s exclusive data processing software, ensure maximum and stable data correlation throughout the sensor’s lifespan.

This calibration process is performed on all cartridges supplied. In the case of replacement cartridges, the reliability guarantee is ensured in the same way as for new equipment.

Factory calibration is included in the purchase costs of the nodes and cartridges. Access to the node management platform also incurs no additional charges.

bettair® platform

How and where is air quality monitoring data collected by the bettair® static nodes?

A network of bettair® nodes is installed at certain points in the area to be mapped, such as streetlights or other urban fixtures, forming a dense matrix.

The data collected by the devices is sent to the bettair® web platform, where you can view the nodes and their status in real-time.

Our API allows easy connection of our platform with any other, whether proprietary or open source, and displays data from each node and heat maps of the covered area.

It's time to improve your city's air quality and noise pollution.
